Day 1: Windhoek - Etosha
Welcome to Namibia and its capital, Windhoek. This morning, after meeting your crew of the Luxury Truck, you will pack your bags into the vehicle and set off for Etosha National Park. Arriving in the early afternoon, your game viewing experience starts immediately with a game drive to camp. After settling in to your accommodation you will have some time to experience the camp’s waterhole.
You can add a game drive at night in open 4x4 vehicles with the local guides through the park.

Day 2: Etosha National park
Today is all about game driving and going in search of the abundant wildlife in the park. Your day will include a stop at the Etosha Pan and many waterholes. This evening you can relax at the floodlit waterhole as the animals make their way to drink after dark.

Day 3: Etosha National Park to Brandberg
Your final morning in Etosha ends with an early morning game drive as you make your way to the gate to exit the park. The road today leads you towards the Brandberg / Khorixas area where you will have the opportunity to view the highest mountain in Namibia, Brandberg. Known for it’s glowing colour, sometimes visible at sunset, derived from Afrikaans, Dutch and German means “Fire Mountain”.

Day 4: Brandberg to Swakopmund
This morning you will enjoy a guided walk at Spitzkoppe with a local guide, for an exploration of these fascinating landforms. These massive granite formations tower 700 meters above the desert plains and the presence of rock art indicates their significance to the San people who lived here many years ago. After your walk, you head towards the coastal town of Swakopmund where you will stop en-route at the famous Welwitchia Mirabilis which is over 2,000 years old.

Day 5: Swakopmund
Today is all about exploring Swakopmund or participating in the many activities on offer in this coastal town. Not to be missed is the selection of famed coffee shops and bakeries that offer a delightful range of treats.

Day 6: Swakopmund to Namib Naukluft National Park
It is an early start today as you leave Swakopmund and head towards the famous Namib Naukluft National Park. No visit to Namibia would be complete without a stop at the famous bakery in Solitaire, known for its apple pie – not to be missed. You will enjoy your apple pie and a wonder around this one-horse town before heading to your accommodation for the next 2 nights.

Day 7: Namib Naukluft National Park
It is a busy day today as you venture deeper into the Namib desert, starting off with a transfer into Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. After walking around and discovering this area, you will make a stop at Dune 45, the highest dune in Namibia. The brave amongst you can climb to the top – the views will not disappoint the efforts. As you leave, you will make a short stop at Sesriem Canyon before returning to your accommodation for the night.

Day 8: Namib Naukluft National Park to Maltahohe
You will leave the wonderful Namib Desert behind you and will make your way towards Maltahohe. Today you will meet the Nama community. For thousands of years, the Khoisan peoples of South Africa and southern Namibia maintained a nomadic life, the Khoikhoi as pastoralists and the San people as hunter-gatherers. The Nama are a Khoikhoi group.
This afternoon we can add a sundowner nature drive to enjoy a true Namibia sunset for you. If you like us to organise this as well, please let us know.

Day 9: Maltahole to Mariental
You make your way towards the Kalahari, one of the most beautiful parts of Namibia and a must see. Enjoy the beauty of the deep red dunes colours. You might spot several types of antelope’s like the Oryx. Maybe you can even spot a meerkat.

Day 10: Mariental
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Kalahari today as you participate in the various optional activities on offer. Today is for you to enjoy the area. One of the many highlights of the Kalahari is the star gazing and tonight you get the opportunity to view the stars, planets, clusters and depending on the time of month, the moon.

Day 11: Mariental to Eros Mountains
After breakfast you bid farewell to the red sand of the Kalahari and make your way back to Windhoek.
Tonight presents itself with a final opportunity to soak in the Namibian sunset on an evening sunset drive with sundowners. This is not included, so if you like us to organise this for you please let us know.

Day 12: Eros Mountains to Windhoek
Today your tour comes to an end after breakfast. Take the day to book a city tour of Windhoek or relax at the lodge until your departure flight.
